nah many have already finished the manhwa adaptation of this not to mention the novel so aside from the newcomers of the anime adaptation, majority of the audience already know her character to the core and its watchers should be the og fans (including me) so I'm not sure about 'make' or 'breaking' of the show

well i would like to see her even more ruthless.. she lives in a world where she is treated like an asset to be traded so if she can get back at them even in a small way it feels satisfying to me. even if this anime will prolly be trash otome bs i still have some hope for it to be darker..in fact as dark as possible.. that would make for a great anime despite its genere

The first half was a bit iffy for me but it really picked up in the second half, I really liked the voice change of Noah when he showed his other face and I also really liked how Raeliana boldly used Noah to make a legitimate reason to end the engagement. Noah at any point in time could have questioned what she was doing but her mentioning the royal seal must have been a priority for him.

Brooks has real patience though lol, wine poured over him and then got left after he was about to play the piano for her. I am curious to learn of the organization/client behind him that is making him use Raeliana.

But I wanna see where this is going.

haven't read the LN but I'm pretty convinced it's the Nobles that are against the abolishment of Nobility. Marrying off one of their lackeys to Raelina would give them access to the riches of her family once she's killed off by poisoning; funds they'd use for rebellion and overthrowing the royal family.
